MobiSystems Rebranding🪄

The rebranding of MobiSystems' portfolio was essential to establish a cohesive and recognizable identity for its diverse product lineup.

One key design challenge was that the product logos had been developed by different teams over the years, resulting in inconsistent styles that failed to convey a unified brand image. Additionally, the product names lacked uniformity, which made it difficult for users to identify them as part of the same company.

The rebranding effort aimed to create a harmonious visual identity by standardizing the logos and aligning the product names, ensuring that all offerings were instantly recognizable as part of the MobiSystems family. This strategic shift strengthened brand recognition and enhanced the overall perception of quality and professionalism.


Another challenge we faced was building a palette that didn't have too many colors, which was a challenge given the large number of products.


The Process

The steps we went through to complete this large and time-consuming project were as follows:

Competitor Research and User Persona Definition

Competitor research and user persona definition help identify market trends, user needs, and design opportunities. This process ensures the product stands out while staying user-centered. In this step the team tried to figure out how to redesign the icons and names so that it wasn’t confusing for the users.

Updating the Product Logos

Updating the product logos so that they are the same point size and font spelling of their names and their colors are in sync.

Defining the Color Palette

Defining a color palette, both unified for the MobiSystems brand and for each product individually.

Creating the Brand Book

Creating a brand book for MobiSystems and all its sub-brands.

Redesign the Key Visuals

Redesigning the key visuals for each product so they look modern and catchy and tailored to the personas.

Redesign the MobiSystems Website

Redesigning the MobiSystems website and merging all product sites into one mega site to sell through a single shopping cart.

Illustrations Redesign

Redesign the illustrations to be used in the products and for advertising purposes.

Going through approval from multiple stakeholders.

Conduct A/B Tests

Several creative concepts were A/B tested, leading to a 30% performance boost on Google Play after identifying the most effective marketing variation.

Develop Marketing Materials

Develop marketing materials with the approved visuals - presentations, mobile sites, videos, campaign banners, visuals for blog articles, social media, PR agencies, etc.

In parallel of the rebranding, a new product was developed and launched - MobiScan.
